When we are in emotional pain, discovering the path to peace can feel elusive. Have you recently felt like anxious thoughts are making it difficult for you to get through your days? Are you experiencing traumatic memories that interfere with your emotional and physical health, and frequently get in your way? Do you find yourself distracted and overwhelmed? You may be feeling you will “never be enough" based on past rejections, or struggling to find your voice within your relationships. If you are feeling lost and uncertain what to do next, I am here to help you find meaningful relief with compassion and non-judgment.
Those I have been honored to work with experience relief through many tailored techniques, including developing communication and connection skills in relationships; gaining tools to understand, manage and express emotions; incorporating brain health strategies; building positive thoughts; and implementing EMDR--a leading trauma/PTSD and anxiety treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is therapy, and how can in help me?
Therapy is a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with a trained professional. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or just feeling stuck, therapy helps you gain clarity, process emotions, and develop healthier ways to navigate life. You don’t have to go through this alone—help is here.
How long does therapy take?
Therapy is different for everyone. Some people find relief in just a few months, while others benefit from longer-term support. Healing is a journey, not a race, and we’ll work together to find a pace that feels right for you.
Do you prescribe medication?
No, as a therapist, I do not prescribe medication. However, if you’re curious about whether medication might help, I can refer you to a psychiatrist or doctor who can provide guidance. Therapy and medication can sometimes work well together, and we can explore what’s best for you.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, sad, or uncertain about something in your life, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy—it’s a space for healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. If you're wondering whether therapy is right for you, I’d be happy to talk and explore what would be most helpful.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, therapy is a private and confidential space. What you share stays between us, except in rare situations where safety is a concern (such as harm to yourself or others). My goal is to create a trusting environment where you feel safe to be open and honest.
What if I don't feel comfortable with my therapist?
Feeling safe and comfortable with your therapist is essential. If, after a few sessions, you don’t feel like it’s the right fit, that’s okay! Therapy is personal, and I want you to work with someone who truly meets your needs. I’m always open to feedback, and if needed, I can help connect you with another therapist who might be a better match.
What can I expect from my first therapy session?
Your first session is all about getting to know each other. You’ll have the chance to share what’s been on your mind, and I’ll ask a few questions to understand your needs and goals. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Do you offer virtual/online therapy?
Yes! If coming to an office feels difficult or inconvenient, online therapy is a great option. I offer secure teletherapy sessions, so you can receive support from the comfort of your home. Many people find that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions.
How do I get started?
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready, or even just curious, I’d love to connect. You can reach out through my contact page to schedule a free consultation or ask any questions. No pressure—just a conversation to see how I can support you.
